Carol Rubano, Founder & Executive Director of Never Go Thirsty at Living Waters Counseling
Carol is the founder of Living Waters Counseling Center and Never Go Thirsty at Living Waters, the non for profit arm at the center. Her desire to establish a center in 2000 which included counseling and a sound spirituality, was based upon her understanding that the clinical aspect of therapy without a spiritual component, will not complete the healing process. That healing is from a power greater than us - GOD. In 2014, NGT was established to assist Living Waters Counseling Center with supplemental funding through grants, donations and fundraising in order to provide the services to people who do not have access to mental health services due to lack of financial resources. Carol created NGT to help make faith based counseling and support accessible to adults, children, couples and families who are abused, traumatized, suffering from addictions and dealing with the full range of the human experience, regardless of their faith or income. Carol manages and mentors the staff of Living Waters and Never Go Thirsty (NGT). She also does presentations to help others understand the deep connection between the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual parts of self. In this understanding, comes a more balanced sense of self and a greater ability to be fully present to self and others.
